KL Trip on 17th November

I just back from KL on Saturday~ It was a great trip. This time I bought quite alot of stuff such as clothes, shoes, accessories and my burberry bowling bag.  The most costly was my burberry bowling bag which is like two thousand plus. But, I think it's quite worth because it's really nice and elegant. You can bring it when u wear casual or formal~ :) Love it so much.

By the way, I realised that some of KL peoples are not so friendly. They talked very rudely and sarcastic~ This was my third time that I met this kind of problem which made me felt very mad!! Even the sale girls are like that~ Why they want to treat their customers in that way??? My gosh! Hate it!!  But, just a few of them were very friendly. I met one girl who is a teenage~When we were going into the monorail, she saw my auntie's mother has no seat and the girl who was very kind and gave a seat to my auntie's mother. :)

We stayed at Coronade hotel, which is just beside the Lot 10 and opposite the Sungei Wang~ We used to stay there all the time when we went to KL. It's very convenient.  The interior are very nice and comfort as well.  We shopped at Sungei Wang, Times Square, Pavillion, Lot 10, Starhill, Midvalley and KLCC. But we went to Sungei Wang and Times Square for 3 times because all the stuffs there were very cheap compared to other shopping complex. We did take some pictures too~ :)

How I spend my free time??

Recently, I'm extremely free because I'm not working at International Music House already. So I have plenty of time now to relax and rest~ To kill my boredom, I used my free time to make "Fried Seaweed" and "Bake Cupcakes" which I wish to do quite long time already but I had no time due to my packed and fulled teaching schedule~Now, I'm just so free~Wahahahhaa~

Fried Seaweed
How to make fried seaweed?? Actually it's very easy to make and taste delicious~:) First, you have to prepare the ingredients such as spring roll pastry, roasted seaweed, egg whites, a pinch of salt and white pepper, and lastly you need a baking brush~ You have to crack 2 eggs and separated the egg whites and egg yolks, you just need the egg whites~You can fried the egg yolks and eat it~haha~Then, you get a pinch of salt and white pepper and sprinkle it in the egg whites~ Afterthat, you take one piece of spring roll pastry, brush the egg white on it, and take one piece of roasted seaweed to stick onto the spring roll pastry which you already brushed with egg whites, then you brush one more layer of egg white on the roasted seaweed, then you take another piece of spring roll pastry to stick on it~Done!! Very easy right??? haha~Now, you can cut it into small pieces and fried it~ After you fried it, you can sprinkle some salt amd white pepper on it~It will taste much nicer~ Go and try~I'm sure you will love it very much~:)

              250gm brown sugar
              5 eggs
              1 tablespoon condensed milk

              300gm self raising flour

* For those who likes chocolate flavour, you can add in 3-4 tablespoons cocoa
  powder

          2. Beat butter and brown sugar till fluffy, approximately 3-5 minutes
          3. Fold in egg one by one. Add in condensed milk.
          4. Add in flour and fresh milk alternately.

Fondant Topping
I took 5 of the cupcakes and put the fondant on the top of my cupcakes. How to make fondant? Now, I have a very simple method to share with you all~

Ingredient - A pack of Marshmallow ( You can buy it at supermaket)
             Sugar powder
             Shortening
             A teaspoon of water

Method - 1. Brush the microwave bowl with shortening (to prevent the stickness)
         2. Pour in the whole pack of marshmallows into the microwave bowl
         3. Pour in a teaspoon of water and bring it into the microwave for
melting. Set the time with 3-4 minutes for melting.
         4. When you want to scoop out the melted marshmallows from the bowl,
remember to brush the shortening on the spoon.
         5. Pour some sugar powder on the table and then put the melted
marshmallows on it. You have to grab a little shortening on your hand
too~Because the melted marshmallows is really sticky~
         6. Roll and press it gently until the melted marshmallows into a dough~
         7. The fondant is ready to use.

Shortening

Brush the shortening on the bowl

Pour in the marshmallows

Add in a teaspoon of water

Put it into the microwave and set the time in 3-4 minutes for melting

Melt it until like this~Remember don't melt it until so watery~

Roll and press it gently to a dough

Slightly press and check your dough whether it's still sticky~Like the picture below is Correct! :) Remember the dough cannot be sticky~Keep adding the sugar powder until your dough become not sticky. If your dough a little dry, you can put a little shortening on it and roll it again and again~

Please keep the extra dough in a container and put in refrigerator. If you want to use for next time, you have to warm it with microwave~:) If you don't keep in the container or just leave it outside, it will get dry very fast and the fondant cannot be used already.
